Get Involved

HEMAMA began as the Heather May–Mashood Abiola Children’s Memorial Library, created in memory of two children whose lives were lost. As the work grew, so did the opportunities for others to join in caring for vulnerable children, widows, and families with dignity and compassion.

There are several ways to participate in this mission and support the programs that serve the community each week.

Give a OneTime or Monthly Gift

Financial support helps sustain all HEMAMA programs and allows the work to respond to needs as they arise. Gifts can be directed toward a specific program or used where the need is greatest.

Volunteer or Partner

For those interested in partnering with HEMAMA or supporting the work through service, outreach, or collaboration, please reach out through the contact page.

Every contribution — whether through giving, sponsorship, or partnership — helps continue the work that began with a memorial library and grew into a place of nourishment, learning, and hope for the community.
