Feeding
Every Saturday, HEMAMA feeds 150+ vulnerable children with nutritious meals. This program has played a major role in reducing malnutrition.
Meals include:
Rice, beans, eggs, bananas, bread, milk, and tea.

Library
HEMAMA began as a small children’s library and has grown into a vital learning hub with over 1,000 books.
Children borrow books weekly, join reading circles, enjoy storytelling, and develop a love for education.

HEMAMA provides free, clean water to the community through a raised water tower.

Vent
This project builds smoke vents in widow households to reduce indoor smoke, respiratory infections, and unsafe cooking conditions.

Widows receive chickens or goats to start micro-livestock projects that empower them financially.

Elijah Jug & Jar
This initiative equips widows and youth with practical, income-generating skills such as tailoring, cosmetology, and technical training.
