HEMAMA’s Daily Bread Program empowers widows with food, training, and purpose — transforming dependency into dignity.
The Daily Bread Program began with a simple idea: to care for those who have cared for others.
Today, widows volunteer their time at HEMAMA, helping prepare meals and mentor children. In return, they receive food supplies like rice and beans to support their families.
This mutual exchange of service and kindness builds both community and confidence.
Jessica, one of our widows, has now trained in fashion and design and earns her living sewing school uniforms — proof that empowerment begins with opportunity.
